Interesting idea! A few small things could really help make this much more believable. The lighting is the main item that seems to have been a focus but it ended up missing the mark a little bit. I'm seeing conflicting directions of light source. If it is coming from the ball as it would seem, you could get away with going much more drastic on the lighting to really give him a creepy and sinister feel. Also the lack of detail is the other part holding this piece back. I fully realize how difficult it is to get into detail on a speedpaint, but I think a few minor tweaks could have really brought this to another level. Setting the feet apart from the leg with folding of skin or separation of nails, and setting the eye into the head a bit more are my two main suggestions. The eye would have been very nice if it appeared to be part of the head a little bit more. Eyelid fold, creasing, socket, etc any or all of these details would have really helped with the believably of the design. Good luck with the next one in your series!
